Jessica Smith

Jessica Smith lives on a farm in a mountain valley, in Southern Vermont where she and her husband tend to the land and raise their herd of jersey milking cows. Her work is focused in conceptual sculpture, abstract painting and creative collaboration. She is currently a junior at Bennington College. Her plan is in Visual Arts in Public Action.

Xiao (Smile)

Based in Suzhou, China, Xiao (Smile) is currently studying literature and visual arts at Bennington College. Smile's understanding of love is what led her to create art; her work offers a narrative and photographic exploration of love through observations of human interactions, emotions, and social events.

Megan Banda

She is an Afrofuturist thinker and multidisciplinary creative, using visual and sound art to explore the ancestral pathways that keep us connected to the earth and each other. Currently, she is discovering alternative philosophies for environmental art practices by focusing on regenerative agriculture. She is a strong believer that at this point in human history, we must focus on re-indigenizing the parts of our lives that were erased by colonialism.

Her childhood experience was shaped by the rich natural environment of her home country, Malawi also known as, the Warm Heart of Africa. Malawi’s landscapes have nurtured her artistic exploration by providing endless inspiration and fueling her curiosity for understanding how to preserve the natural beauty .
